What is BlueRockTEL?
An overview of the BlueRockTEL BSS platform — what it covers, how it's structured, and how its modules work together to manage the full telecom business lifecycle.
The BlueRockTEL Platform
BlueRockTEL is a Business Support System (BSS) designed for telecom operators, cloud service resellers, and MSP. It replaces the fragmented collection of tools that many operators rely on — spreadsheets for tracking services, generic CRMs that don't understand telecom workflows, separate billing software, email threads for support — with a single integrated platform where data flows naturally from one step to the next.
From first contact with a prospect through to monthly invoicing and ongoing support, BlueRockTEL keeps everything in one place, with one shared view of the customer.
Key Modules
The platform is composed of purpose-built modules. You can activate them individually or as a complete suite.
| Module | What it handles |
|---|---|
| CRM & Prospection | Prospects, pipeline, quotes, prospect-to-client conversion |
| Catalog & Folders | Product catalog, service configuration, folders (billing containers) |
| Billing & Rating | CDR processing, invoice generation, rate plans, multi-batch billing |
| Client Portal | Customer self-service, invoice retrieval, service overview |
| Helpdesk | Support tickets, SLA tracking, time logging |
| Customer Satisfaction | CSAT/NPS surveys, e-learning, newsletters |
| Administration | Users, roles, organisation settings, configuration |
How the Modules Connect
The power of BlueRockTEL is in the connections between modules. A prospect in the CRM receives a quote generated from a Folder. When the prospect accepts, they are converted to a client and the folder is activated. Billing generates invoices from the folder's articles on the configured schedule. The client can view and download invoices from the Client Portal. If they need help, they open a ticket in the Helpdesk. After resolution, a Customer Satisfaction survey can be sent automatically.
You don't configure these integrations — they are built in. A deal flows naturally through the entire business lifecycle without re-entering data or switching systems.
Who This Manual Is For
This manual is written for the people who operate BlueRockTEL day-to-day: account managers, billing administrators, support agents, and system administrators. It focuses on practical, task-oriented guidance for the daily workflows you perform most often.
Technical integration documentation (API, webhooks) is covered separately.
