## Overview

The **Business → Installations** menu groups three complementary views of the installations created from your [setup templates](/en/docs/setup-templates):

| View | Answers the question |
|---|---|
| **List** | What are all the installations, with their details? |
| **Statuses** | Where does each installation stand in the process? Which ones are running late? |
| **Planning** | Who works on what, on which days, and who still has availability? |

A switcher at the top right of each view (list, board and calendar icons) lets you move from one to another.

> **Prerequisite:** these views are only as useful as your template configuration. Before starting, go through [Setting Up Your Templates Right from the Start](/en/docs/setup-templates#setting-up-your-templates-right-from-the-start).

## List

The list is the reference view: a table of all installations, with search, filters and sorting. It is the page that opens when you click **Installations**.

Click an installation to open its page: general information, customer, folder, technician, and all tasks with their progress. The **Edit** button at the top right lets you change its details (name, internal notes, delivery and porting dates…).

## Status Board

The status board shows installations as cards, arranged in columns according to **the step they are at**.

### The Columns

- **One column per active phase type**, in the order and with the colour set in **Settings → Management → Installation → Phase types**. An installation sits in the column of its **current phase**'s type, i.e. the first phase that still has an open task.
- **Other**: installations whose current phase has no type (or an inactive one).
- **Completed**: closed installations.

Cards move **by themselves**: when the last task of a phase is completed, the installation moves to the next phase's column. The board therefore always reflects real progress; cards cannot be moved by hand.

A column can be collapsed with the arrow in its header, to focus on the others. This choice is remembered.

### What a Card Shows

- the installation **name** (click it to open its page);
- the **customer**;
- the **installation category tag**, in the category's colour;
- the **folder** and the folder's **technician**;
- in the card footer, the installation's **age** in days compared to its category's usual delay (e.g. "12 d / 30 d"). It turns **orange** from 70 % of the delay and **red** once the delay is exceeded;
- the **percentage of completed tasks**, with a progress bar (cancelled or skipped tasks are not counted).

### Closing or Reopening an Installation

An installation may be finished while a few unimportant tasks remain, or left open by mistake. To close it, open the card menu (the three dots, or **right-click** the card) and choose **Close installation**. It moves to the **Completed** column; its remaining tasks are left untouched.

A closed installation can be reopened the same way with **Reopen installation**: it goes back to its current phase's column.

These actions are reserved for users allowed to edit installations.

### Filtering the Board

The **Filters** button lets you show only:

- some **installation categories** (e.g. only 3CX deployments, or hide trainings);
- installations with at least one task assigned to some **team members**, for instance your team.

Your filters are **remembered** for your session: a team lead gets straight back to their team's view.

## Planning

The planning shows **each team member's workload, day by day**, based on the installation tasks assigned to them and their due date.

### Reading the Planning

- One row per team member with running tasks, with next to their name the total hours planned over the period and their capacity (e.g. "26h / 40h").
- Each day is split into **one-hour slots** (8 by default). Each task takes a height proportional to its [estimated duration](/en/docs/setup-templates#task-duration): 30 minutes, 2 hours, a full day…
- Tasks are coloured by their **task category**. They show their title and, when there is room, the customer and duration. Hover a task for details; click it to open it.
- Completed tasks are faded.
- Under each day, the day's total (e.g. "5h / 8h"). An **overbooked** day is shown in red, with a dotted line at the capacity limit.

### Navigating and Filtering

The arrows next to the dates move from one week to another. By default, the planning shows **one week from Monday to Friday**.

The **Filter** button lets you choose:

- the **task categories** to show;
- the **team members** to show (your team, for instance);
- the **number of weeks** shown (up to 4);
- whether **weekends** are shown.

As with the status board, your filters are **remembered** for your session. **Reset & Close** goes back to the default view.

> **Tip:** to find a free slot for a new visit, filter on the technicians concerned and show two weeks: the lightly loaded days stand out.
